Day1 Paro-Thimphu

  • You will be received by our company representative.
  • Drive to Thimphu, stop at 15th century temple for short walk through the Iron chain bridge.
  • Stop at the confluence of the two river
  • Welcome tea
  • Check into the hotel
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch
  • Visit the Memorial Chorten built in 1974 by Late Her Majesty Ashi Kezang Choden Wangchuck
  • Visit Buddha point to enjoy whole Thimphu valley, as we believe biggest Buddha
  • Leisure walk around the capital city
  • Evening tea
  • Dinner at hotel

Day 2 Thimphu sightseeing

  • Visit 13 Traditional Art and Craft School, established in 1968 by late His Majesty the Third Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
  • Stop by Folk Heritage Museum
  • Visit National Textile Museum
  • Post office and Bank for exchange
  • Have a wonderful Lunch
  • Takin, the national rare animal in Bhutan
  • Hike to Tango Monastery through the beautiful  forest ( takes 1 hours)
  • Meditation inside a main tower with monks, if luck favors, we could see monks debating.
  • Dinner at Bhutanese Restaurant
  • Taste homemade alcohol popularly known as Ara
  • Overnight at the hotel

Day3Thimphu – Punakha/wangdue(3 hours drive)

  • Drive to Punakha enjoying the view of the beautiful forest and mountains
  • Dochula pass, 3050m from sea-level, one of the most beautiful pass in the country.
  • In a clear day, you will see all the Himalaya from this pass.
  • Visit Druk Wangyel temple and walk around the 108 stupas
  • Tea /coffee /lunch at the cafeteria on the pass
  • Continue your journey to Punakha, the subtropical vegetation.
  • Enjoy beautiful village view and enjoy the farm land of the local people
  • Taking photos of the beautiful rice fields
  • Evening Tea

Day4. Punakha Magnificent valley sightseeing

  • Punakha Dzong is one of the most magnificent and scenic fortress in Bhutan, it’s the second oldest Dzong.
  • Meditation with monks
  • Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten/temple. Hike through the rice field and farm houses, be prepared with your camera for amazing views.(1.5hours)
  • Hike to Chimi Lhakhang or Temple of Fertility: Another beautiful hike through farm houses and rice field. This popular hike is mostly made by many young couples who don’t conceive baby after long marriage.
  • Evening Tea

Day5. Punakha:  Day excursion to beautiful Phobjikha valley( 2.5 hours)

  • Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan.
  • Drive through the scenic forest over the black mountain ranges
  • Gangtey Goemba built in 17thcentury
  • Hike through the nature trail of the beautiful valley
  • Black necked crane roosting valley in winter
  • Lunch
  • Return to punakha
  • Evening Tea
  • Overnight at same hotel

Day6.Punakha – Paro via Dochula pass and Thimphu(5hours)

  • Stop at Dochula for tea break and enjoy Himalaya views
  • Druk wangyel lhakhang dedicated to His Majesty the forth King of Bhutan
  • Lunch at Thimphu/Paro
  • Evening Tea
  • Check in the hotel
  • Overnight at hotel

Day7. Paro valley sightseeing

  • Paro Dzong built in 17thcentury
  • Walk down to bridge
  • Stop at archery ground, national sport of Bhutan
  • Leisure walk around town
  • lunch
  • Kychu lhakhang built in 7th century
  • Meditation inside the oldest monastery
  • Visit farm house
  • Evening Tea

Day8. Paro Sightseeing: Beautiful woodland hike to Zhurig Dzong and National Museum (1hours)

  • Drive to the Dry lake near Uma paro
  • Treasure discovered rock, try getting into amazing underground rock.
  • Visit Zhurig Dzong located at hilltop, used by ancient warrior
  • Meditation inside a main building with a view of Paro valley
  • Hike towards National Museum of Bhutan built in 17thcentury
  • Picnic lunch at the best spot
  • Visit National Museum (2 hours)
  • Evening Tea
  • Overnight at same hotel

Day9. Paro valley: spiritual day excursion to Tiger Nest. (Hike takes 7hours total round trip)

  • Hike toTaktsang Goemba-Tiger’s Nest take 7hours including photo stop and lunch at Cafeteria
  • 800m climb from valley floor
  • Moderate-hard, drink lots of water
  • carry enough water
  • Riding ponies are available at their own cost
  • 1 hour to first view point, where there is cafeteria, you will be serve tea/coffee with a view of the monastery
  • Reach to second view point, be careful with steep steps
  • Beautiful photo stop
  • No camera, mobile and bags are allowed inside monastery
  • Meditation inside a main temple
  • walk back for lunch to cafeteria

Day10. Paro – Bangkok

  • DrukAir departs early, after breakfast, your guide and driver will see you off at the airport. You need to check in two hours before departure.
